Community turns out to support fire department at annual dance
Hundreds attended the Lake City Fire Department’s annual two-day fundraiser at the fire hall, many more participated by buying shirts and raffle tickets.
On Friday night, local country music act Dan and Connie performed at a free event that included food and beverage vendors and a inflatable bounce house.
Saturday’s events began at 3 p.m. and ended past midnight.
The afternoon’s entertainment included polka music by the Wendinger Band, a beanbag tournament, and balloon sculptures, face painting and inflatables for children.
