Cook receives Lifetime Achievement Award at Rochester Sports Banquet
Retired Bluff View Elementary School teacher and longtime Lake City cross country and track and field coach Howie Cook was the 2025 recipient of the Rochester Sports Lifetime Achievement Award at the organization’s annual banquet on Sunday, Feb. 1.
The program for the event said the “award seeks to recognize individuals who have used their time and talents through leadership, persistence, and dedication for the overall good of athletics and sports in the Rochester area throughout their lifetime.”
