County fairs get infrastructure grants

The Goodhue County Fair and Wabasha County Fair are among 23 county fair programs in Minnesota and Wisconsin selected to receive grants of up to $3,000 from the AgStar Fund for Rural America to help improve agricultural buildings on their fairgrounds.

Wabasha County Agricultural Fair received a grant to update electrical lighting and wire in the rabbit building.

Goodhue County Fair received a grant for new water lines, accessible ramps, ground limestone for barn floors and hand wash stations.
