Course on Mental Illness Planned

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Minnesota will hold a free Mental Health First Aid training course in Red Wing designed to teach the basic first aid skills needed to help a person who is experiencing a mental health problem or crisis.

This eight-hour course is aimed at improving mental health literacy. It will be held on Saturday, Aug. 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., at United Lutheran Church, 628 West 5th Street. Participants should bring a lunch.
