Decades-long pillow partnership endures
History has had many famous duos—Remus and Romulus, Tenacious D, Linda Ronstadt and Aaron Neville—but few partnerships have lasted as long, or provided as much fluff, as Prigge and Carlson.
Esther Prigge has been working the twice-yearly Fluff-N-Puff pillow cleaning event for several decades. When she started the event was held at Lakeside Shoes on Lyon Avenue.
The model is simple: local groups provide staff and perform some administration and promotion in exchange for a share of the proceeds from pillow repairs and sales.
