DFL brainstorming meeting doubles as ugly sweater party

The Wabasha County Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party is hosting an ugly sweater party on Dec. 15 at 7 p.m. at the Eagles Nest Coffee House in Wabasha to start brainstorming ideas for a get out the vote initiative. The party is hoping to have a special emphasis on young voters, although anyone can join. With caucuses scheduled for March 1, the party’s goal is to get youth voters engaged in Wabasha County.
