Dixie musicians swing in to Lake City June 30
At 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, Lake City Area Arts will host a free community concert in Patton Park with the Big Dixie Swingers from New Orleans, La.
The Big Dixie Swingers are a traveling musical collective headed up by fiddler Aaron Gunn and banjoist Elizabeth Vargas. The Big Dixie Swingers gig with an array of players, depending on the area of the country they’re touring.
When performing in Minnesota this often includes Minneapolis singer/songwriter Jack Klatt and bassist Michael Carvale (of Davina and the Vagabonds).
