DLC cleans beach, donates chairs

In recognition of Lake City’s annual clean-up day, a group of Destination Lake City (DLC) members met early on May 14 to clean up the beach and the area around the Federal Pier stone turnaround.
Although the weather was a bit brisk, a half dozen DLC members (and one dog named Mocha) showed up for the tasks of clearing litter, raking the beach, removing dead vegetation and improving the area in general.
