DLC 'Spring Fling' clean-up project open to everyone
Destination Lake City is encouraging residents and groups to join them in a city-wide cleanup event on Earth Day, Saturday, April 22.
The Big Spring Fling Clean-Up Thing is “our third annual drive to get community participation and involvement to make Lake City a better place to live, work, play and visit,” said John Hutchinson, a Destination Lake City member.
People can work anytime between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on one of several suggested projects spearheaded by local groups, or plan a project of their own.
