Dog park booster speaks to Kiwanis Club
Mary Nelson informed the club about the formation of the new city dog park.
Mary, a new Kiwanis member, was the main driving force behind the creation of the dog park.
$43,000 was raised in a collaboration between private fund raising and city funding to create the very popular park on city property near the new Public Safety Building on 10th Street.
Fund raising for a small shading structure is the step going on now.
