Dr. Valkos retirement open house is Oct. 1
Former patients and well-wishers are invited to an open house for Dr. David Valkos Saturday, Oct. 1, from 10 a.m. to noon at his former clinic, now Eagle Valley Chiropractic, 106 S. Washington St., Lake City.
Valkos is retiring for health reasons after 28 years as a chiropractor in Lake City. He practiced for two years in Austin before coming here.
He said it’s difficult to say goodbye, but it wasn’t a difficult decision to retire.
“I was pretty sick,” he said. “I had a charcot foot, a really aggressive arthritity.”
