Eagle center marks migration time with weekend programs throughout March

The month of March in Wabasha means it’s time for the National Eagle Center’s SOAR with the Eagles festival.

This month-long festival celebrates the spring migration of bald eagles along the Mississippi River. In March, hundreds of bald eagles move north along the river, feeding on fish as the ice recedes. The National Eagle Center offers opportunities to view these migrating bald eagles. As part of the celebration, each weekend of SOAR will feature flying bird shows, live animals, and educational programs.
