Eight bad reasons to avoid a flu shot

Everyone is at risk of getting influenza (“the flu”) during flu season, which is typically from December through March.

Influenza is a respiratory virus that causes an illness many people never forget once they’ve had it. Some say they felt like they were hit by a semi-truck and were wiped out for weeks. Others end up in the hospital with pneumonia or complications from other health conditions.
