Eleventh Tour de Pepin could set new record
Over 900 riders had registered for Saturday’s 11th annual Tour de Pepin as of Tuesday morning, according to Lake City Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Michelle Larson.
That total, plus the 150 riders who typically register the day of the ride, would push total ridership for the bicycle ride around the lake higher than the record set last year.
“We are expecting a good number again this year,” she said. “The weather is looking good as long as the rain holds out.”
