Enger stresses gratitude at commencement

In his speech during the class of 2021 commencement at Lincoln High School Sunday, June 6, Lake City Public Schools Supt. Erick Enger asked the nearly full gymnasium to adopt an “attitude of gratitude.”

“Remember it’s not happiness that brings us gratitude; it’s gratitude that brings us happiness,” he said. “Find something to be thankful for each and every day because life truly is a blessing.”

One of the things he said he’s grateful for was the ceremony they were all a part of that day.
