It’s hard to not have heard about the Zika virus, as it frequently dominates news headlines. As a Minnesotan, sometimes it’s harder to see the connections between a hot climate disease and our temperate climate. September is National Preparedness Month, so now is a good a time as any to review the disease, its impact, transmission methods, and what that means for you.
