Festival of lights to be Nov. 28
Villa Maria Retreat and Conference Center in Frontenac welcomes all to its annual “Festival of Lights” on Saturday, Nov. 28.
The festival celebrates the beginning of Advent and the spirit of the season with an open house and display of over 100 candle-lit international nativities from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. There is no charge to attend.
A classical concert will be held at 7 p.m., followed by a decadent dessert buffet and wine tasting by a local vintner. The cost for this event is $25 per person.
The light of over 1,200 luminaries will illumine the grounds of Villa Maria.
