Finale walk to be at Hok-Si-La Park Aug. 12

“It was another picture-perfect evening for the Walking Lake Pepin (WLP) group Wednesday, July 29, as they visited the Catholic Worker Farm outside of Lake City on Goodhue County Road 5,” commented WLP committee member Patty Svien.
Paul Freid welcomed the group and shared the story of how he and his wife, Sara, came to the Lake City area to establish the farm. He explained the farm’s mission of creating a sustainable farm economy, providing hospitality to those in need and training opportunities for people who want to learn about the Catholic Worker way of life.
