Fire department receives grant for high-powered compact fan

Lake City Fire Department is the recipient of one of 177 grant awards totalling $746,000 from Compeer Financial’s Fund for Rural America, the Farm Credit cooperative’s giving program, through its Emergency Response Equipment Program, according to a news release.
Lake City Fire Department received a $2,750 grant toward the purchase of a high-powered compact fan with a long section of duct.
