A grim Fourth of July forecast led the Lake City Chamber of Commerce to postpone the annual fireworks show over Lake Pepin until Saturday, July 9.
“It’s never an easy call to make, but the forecast is not looking in our favor for tonight’s display,” the Chamber said in a public Facebook post. “Good news is, now we have another reason to celebrate next week!”
The rescheduled fireworks display will begin at 10 p.m. on July 9.
