Five for Food pledges exceed goal, donation deadline is April 11
Five for Food appears to have surpassed its $50,000 goal.
“As of today March 31, funds raised for the Five for Food initiative (including three outstanding pledges) is $53,052.98,” Bruce Carlstrom, Five for Food coordinator, said. “To give additional time for the outstanding pledges to be included, I have extended the Five for Food deadline to April 11.”
People who want to contribute to the annual fundraiser for the Lake City Food Shelf can do so using the form on page 2 of this issue.
