Fluid flow: A love story

“All of us are bound together by our love for fluid flow,” Jeff Marr told the audience at a fundraiser for a Lake Pepin-focused project by the Greater Lake City Community Foundation Nov. 30 at Nosh in Lake City.

Marr was referring to he and his colleagues at the University of Minnesota’s St. Anthony Falls Research Laboratory in Minneapolis.

In the audience were people interested in hearing how the lab could aid efforts to reduce the amount of sediment flowing into and filling Lake Pepin.
