Former City Council member Ray St. Martin dies

In a farewell address to the City Council when he left the council in January 2011 that was later published in the Lake City Graphic, Ray St. Martin said that one chapter in the “book of Ray” was ending and another was beginning.

Now the final chapter has been written.

St. Martin died Oct. 4 at age 74.

In addition to serving on the city council from 2007-2011, St. Martin owned Rouletti’s Pizza in Lake City for 10 years and served on the city’s planning commission and charter commission.
