Free COVID-19 testing event in Plainview attracts over 550

More than 550 people took advantage of a free, drive-through COVID-19 testing event this past Monday at the Bluff Country School Bus Service site in Plainview.

The event was coordinated by the Minnesota Department of Health, in partnership with Wabasha County Public Health and the City of Plainview.

The goal was to break down barriers and test as many people as possible, said Andrea Vaubel, lead incident command for the Plainview site and deputy commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Agriculture.
