Free event celebrates state's birthday

The Goodhue County History Center invites everyone to spend the afternoon on Sunday, May 7 celebrating Minnesota’s 159th birthday at its Free Family Fun Day.

On May 11, 1858 the “Land of 10,000 Lakes” entered the Union as the 32nd state. People can stop by the History Center to celebrate and learn about a few of the things that makes this state so great.
