Free workshops offered to reduce falls in older adults
“Stepping On” is a workshop being offered in Lake City co-sponsored by First Lutheran Church Health and Wellness committee and the Mayo Clinic.
The workshop helps older adults prevent falls. The workshop is for two hours, once a week, for seven weeks at First Lutheran Church, 100 Peace Ridge in Lake City, beginning Thursday Feb. 1, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., ending on March 15. There is no fee for the class but pre-registration is required. Contact Patty Svien, 651-345-4383, to register for the workshop. Contact information will be required for anyone leaving a message.
