Fresh off Memorial Day performance, community choir welcomes new members
After an outstanding performance at the Memorial Day tribute last weekend, the Lake City Community Choir met Thursday to celebrate and discuss their next endeavors.
Directors Lisa Wallerich and Travis Walker provided refreshments and welcomed new and current participants. Members offered suggestions for future performances and shared their preferred musical genres and selections. The wide range of musical tastes did not follow a predictable generational pattern but the shared enthusiasm and optimism of the group was unmistakable.
