Frontenac celebrate heritage with food, tours, old-time base ball, and more

Frontenac’s “History Days” celebration this past weekend was enjoyed by many residents of Frontenac and neighboring communities.

The kick-off event on Saturday, Sept. 12, at the Florence Town Hall featured a delicious variety of homemade pies, which attendees enjoyed while listening to personal (and often humorous) recollections of days gone by, as told by a number of current and former residents.
