Fund raiser celebrates National Teacher Appreciation Day

The Lake City Education Foundation has extended the deadline to express appreciation for a Lake City Public Schools teacher while at the same time supporting the foundation’s mission. In honor of National Teacher Appreciation Day on May 3, the foundation is allowing people to express their good fortune to have a teacher in their life by sending them a special message inside a hand-made paper fortune cookie.
