Fundraising biker makes pit stop in Lake City
Dozens of Harleys and other motorcycles filled the parking lot of Kwik Trip in downtown Lake City Thursday, July 25, during a brief stop on their way to a Harley Davidson dealership near La Crosse, Wis.
“This is the Great American Convoy,” said Adam Sandoval, the leader of the pack. “It’s a convoy of motorcycles riding across America raising funds for the Wounded Warrior Project.
“Essentially, I’m like Forrest Gump. Only instead of running across America, I’m riding across America and other riders join me for as long as they can.”
