Gingerbread home building boom
Area homes became building sites for smaller, sweeter homes recently.
Lake City Area Arts (LCAA) provided gingerbread house building kits to 50 children.
Each kit included supplies for making a gingerbread house, a snow flake project, “and a few little additions,” according to LCAA.
People can see more photos of gingerbread house builders and their creations on the Lake City Area Arts Facebook page.
The activity was one of several this year made possible through a grant from the Greater Lake City Community Foundation.
