Girls Day Out window decorating contest announced
Girls Day Out is April 27 this year, and the Lake City Chamber of Commerce is encouraging all member businesses and civic organizations to participate in a window decorating contest.
The theme of the contest is the same as the theme for for Girls Day Out: “Garden Party.”
“We are hoping to bring spring to Lake City a little bit earlier” with the contest, according to a poster.
A people’s choice vote will determine the winner of the contest. The prize is $50 Chamber Bucks.
