Gloria Otto celebrates 50 years as organist for St. John's in Frontenac

St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Congregation of Frontenac will be celebrating Gloria Otto’s 50 years as church organist this coming Sunday, July 30.

It was on the Aug. 20, 1967, when 14 year old Gloria (Steffenhagen) Otto played for her first Sunday morning worship service at St. John’s.

On Sunday her brother, Gary Steffenhagen, who was her predecessor at St. John’s, will be the guest organist.
