Goodhue County health dept. receives breastfeeding award
Goodhue County Health and Human Services has received a Breastfeeding Friendly Health Department Award from the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) for its contributions to the health of mothers and their babies.
The designation acknowledges the department’s commitment to leading as a model for the community by supporting healthy families and receiving the business benefits of supporting nursing mothers, according to a news release from the county.
Goodhue County Health and Human Services was recognized at the Gold level.
