Harvest Days hosts named outstanding conservationists

Dwain and Marilyn Gerken were recently honored as outstanding conservationists at the annual meeting of the Minnesota Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts, Dec. 3-5 in Bloomington, Minn.
The Gerkens, who farm 90 acres near Oak Center, were selected by the Wabasha Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) for the award.
