Harvest fest is this weekend
The 16th annual Corn Shredding Autumn Harvest Days will be held Saturday and Sunday near Oak Center.
The festival will be held on the Dwain Gerken Farm.
Festivities will go on from 9 a.m., to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. A $5 button is good for admission for both days.
Old-time farm practices will be demonstrated including corn shelling and shredding, threshing, corn binding, rope making, potato digging and silo filling.
On Saturday morning the Harvest Days will host the 34th annual Minnesota State Corn Husking Contest starting at 9 a.m.
