Hatch delights pre-schoolers

Pre-schoolers in Sara Banitt’s Cub Care at Bluff view Elementary School got to watch eggs hatch recently.

“I brought the eggs in so the kids could witness the experience,” Banitt said. “I also have a deep love of all animals.”

Eight of the 15 chicken eggs hatched. Six are barnyard mixes, and two are polish/silkie mixes, Banitt said.

“We still have two ducks in the incubator that are expected to hatch in a couple of days,” she said.
