'Health Summit' planned for Oct. 8 in Cannon Falls

State Sen. Matt Schmit, DFL-Red Wing, will moderate a health policy discussion among a variety of key state and local officials on Thursday, Oct. 8.

The Southeast Health Policy Summit will include Health and Human Services Commissioner Lucinda Jesson; MNsure CEO Allison O’Toole; Department of Health Managed Care Systems Director Gil Acevedo; and Mayo Clinic Health System - Cannon Falls/Lake City/Red Wing CEO Dr. Tom Witt. Department of Commerce Commissioner Mike Rothman also has been invited to participate.
