Historical society invites people to relive past Grand Excursions at next Open Hours event
The Lake City Historical Society (LCHS) invites you to take a Grand Excursion back to 2004 with Sonda Featherstone next Tuesday, Jan. 14 at 1:30 pm at City Hall.
Sonda was a co-chair of the Grand Excursion event in Lake City along with Mary DeRoos during the re-creation of the historic 1854 Grand Excursion tour. Both the 2004 and the 1854 events were created to promote Minnesota and Mississippi River towns as ideal places to visit, relocate and establish businesses and families.
