Hockey world champ Taylor Heise speaks at Rotary Club event
Taylor Heise summarized a hockey career that began on an outdoor rink in Lake City and has included women’s college hockey’s top individual honor and a world team title during a speech sponsored by the Lake City Rotary Club in the Lincoln High School Auditorium on Monday, July 24.
About 80 people were in attendance to hear and ask questions of Heise, a Lake City native who at age 23 is among the sport’s elite, with sponsorships from equipment manufacturer CCM and Chipotle.
