Hope coalition offers free training for sexual assault services volunteers
A 40-hour certification training is being offered for prospective volunteers for HOPE Coalition’s Sexual Assault Services Program. Once certified by the State of Minn., volunteer advocates serve survivors of sexual assault and abuse in Goodhue and Wabasha counties and their families in a variety of capacities. The training session will be held Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. starting on May 9 and ending on May 25. Meals are provided.
