Humane Society 5K-9 event is Saturday
The Hiawatha Animal Humane Society’s 2026 5K-9 Fun Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, May 9, beginning at Ohuta Beach Park in Lake City.
After starting at the beach, the route proceeds along the shore of Lake Pepin. The event will begin with check-in at 8:15 a.m. followed by the run/walk at 9 a.m.
The entry fee is $35. People can register ahead of time at Anytime Fitness, Lake Pepin Pet Clinic or online at http://runsignup.com/Race/MN/LakeCity/LakeCity5K9FunRunWalk.
