Hunt is on for city's architectural features
The City of Lake City’s Heritage Preservation Commission (HPC) is sponsoring its first annual architectural scavenger hunt.
This event was developed to encourage participants to observe the architecture that exists in the community. Photos were taken of seven architectural features, including a gothic arch, a commercial cornice, and an ionic column. The items on the tour are all visible from the public street, and are components of some of the community’s more historic properties.
