Ice fishing contest season is upon us

It’s mid-February once again, and that means back-to-back Saturdays of ice fishing tournaments hosted by area sportsmen’s clubs.
First up is the Frontenac Sportsman’s Club 38th annual ice fishing contest on Frontenac Pond on Feb. 12 from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.
A free children’s fishing contest for ages 15 and under with “lots of prizes” runs from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
