Icelandic poet to lead Anderson Center

Christopher Burawa, a poet and translator with experience in arts administration and community outreach, took over leadership of the Anderson Center on Sept. 1.

Burawa comes to Red Wing from a position as director of the Center of Excellence for the Creative Arts at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tenn.

The center is devoted to inspiring and educating students about the community and the importance of the arts.
