Reading and then watching the video of Gabriela Herrera Mateo telling the story of her journey to America and her experiences once she arrived took Dominique Mueller on a journey of her own.
Mueller arrived in America as a refugee of the Vietnam War. She said those early struggles aren’t something she thinks about until something gets triggered.
