Infant dies following collision on Goodhue County Road 5
A four-week-old child from Lake City died after being injured in a collision at the Goodhue County Road 2 and Goodhue County Road 5, according to the Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office.
The collision happened around 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 14, according to the sheriff’s office report.
The infant, Matthew C. Morales, was a passenger in a van that was eastbound on County Road 5.
The van stopped at the stop sign, then proceeded into the intersection, where it was struck by a semi truck that was northbound on County Road 2.
