January blood drive collect 84 units
To the editor:
Out of a total of 96 donors presenting at the Jan. 23-24 blood drive, 84 units of blood were collected. A sincere thank you goes to all. These donations help relieve recent critical need for blood nationwide.
We wish to thank the United Methodist Church for the use of their building, callers, set-up and take-down crews, those who put posters up around town, all volunteers who worked at the site, and the ladies of St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church and First Lutheran Church for serving evening and noon meals to workers.
