Johnny Appleseed Day 2017 brings with it the return of some favorite events of years past, but not johnny races.
The event is technically Oct. 7, but a Friday night appearance by television travel host Rudy Maxa (7 p.m. at the Lake City Sportsman’s Club) is being promoted under the festival auspices.
