Keller award is a source of pride for local Lions

The Lake City Lions Club received a letter in June recognizing its contribution to the Minnesota Lions Eye Bank and Minnesota Lions Vision Foundation, which celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2018.

Helen Keller challenged Lions International in 1925 to “Become knights of the blind in this crusade against darkness.” Since that time, Lions members worldwide have devoted their service careers to helping people with visual impairments.
